Bluegiga Port Devices Driver
Device Manager is the program you need to manage drivers and see whether there’s a problem. Photograph: Samuel Gibbs/The Guardian. If a reboot doesn’t make Windows renew its USB drivers, you. When you plug the device into your USB, Windows will look for the associated driver, if it cannot find this driver then you will be prompted to insert the driver disc that came with your device. Common USB Device errors are ‘usb port not working‘, ‘device descriptor request failed error’ or ‘bugcodeusbdriver. Bluegiga Technologies Ltd. known as Bluegiga, is a Finnish wireless technology company based in Espoo, Finland. Founded in 2000, it has since expanded its offices to Atlanta in USA and Hong Kong. Bluegiga has been a member of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group since it was established and joined Continua Health Alliance in Spring 2008. The company joined Wi-Fi Alliance in the beginning of 2012.
The BlueGiga dongle contains a Bluetooth (BLE) radio that allows PCs to communicate with BLE devices, such as our dual mode or BLE only cycling power meters. Reach for the BlueGiga USB over native BLE integration for firmware upgrades that are truly plug-and-play. Need to update your power meter’s firmware using Rouvy? The bluegiga bridge requires the configuration parameter port, which corresponds to the serial port the dongle is connected to. Additionally, the parameter backgroundDiscovery can be set to true/false. When set to true, any Bluetooth device of which broadcasts are received is added to the Inbox.
Products[edit]
Bluegiga develops and manufactures short range wireless connectivity systems, including Bluetooth modules and access servers, Wi-Fi modules, Bluetooth Smart modules as well as a licenceable embedded Bluetooth stack, iWRAP. The products are mainly aimed at adding wireless connectivity to industrial customers' products, rather than being consumer-ready end products by themselves. Common industry sectors that use Bluegiga's products include, Healthcare, automotive, audio, industrial and consumer applications.
Acquisitions[edit]
In February 2015, Bluegiga was acquired by Silicon Labs.[1]

TCP/Com®
Multi-function Serial <-> Ethernet Redirection Software
Multifunction serial to ethernet (and ethernet to serial) interface software. Easily access a serial device via a TCP/IP or UDP network or redirect Ethernet/IP data to real or “Virtual” RS232 serial ports. This allows you to use existing Windows-based serial RS232 communications software to send and receive data across any TCP/IP network.

TCP/Com software is extremely simple but powerful. It can be used to solve a wide variety of device interfacing and RS232 or TCP/IP conversion problems, such as the following:
- Turn a PC into a Serial Device Server (Terminal Server)
- Send or receive data over a TCP/IP port with any serial communications program
- Open COM ports located on another computer in your network as if they were local
- Use Ethernet network (or the Internet) as a giant serial RS232 cable (Serial Tunneling)
- Feed data from one physical RS232 port to multiple RS232 serial communications applications
- Map a TCP/IP port to a different TCP/IP port
Use TCP/Com as a Serial Device Server (Learn More)
Share serial devices over a network (or even the internet)
Use TCP/Com as a Virtual Serial Port Splitter Cable (Learn More)
Windows does not allow multiple programs to access the same COM port. Bypass this restriction by using TCP/Com to split a single COM port into multiple virtual COM ports. This allows all your serial communications programs to access the same data.
Intuitive Multi-Document Interface
In the TCP/Com window just select the com port number and the serial communications parameters for your serial device and enter an IP address and a socket number. Then activate! It's that easy! Com port data will appear at the IP address and data from an IP port will appear at a real or virtual com port.
